Here we go again

On 21 August 2010 I made my first blog post for the Bahrain Adventure and here on 11 August 2014 I find myself starting another blog for another international adventure. Tomorrow we start our journey to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Once again I am planning to keep the blog going only whilst there is something reasonably interesting to report. When I get to the point where the only bot of news is that the washing got caught in a downpour or the local supermarket is out of stock of my favourite brand of toilet roll then I will stop posting. (I think if you click on the picture you'll get a slightly bigger view of where we are off to). That's the top of Australia in the bottom right hand corner.

The climate in Kuala Lumpur (hereinafter referred to as KL) will be very different to that of Bahrain. It is hot all year round ranging from 25 yo 35 degrees. Lots of rain (hot rain!) and lots of sunshine. There are loads of places to visit so I hope to have a few weekend adventures to report on as we visit other places. We can drive to Singapore in only about three hours so that is a definite plan. I am hoping to collect a new guitar when I am there too. More about that later.

I am going to work at Alice Smith School as a physics teacher. As yet Sheila is going to be a lady of leisure but I hope to have her grafting soon after we get there. If not I expect my dinner on the table when I get in (if she is not too busy playing golf or attending the ladies coffee circle club!!!!

OK enough for now, this post is just to get the ball rolling. More to come later.
